Who: Vanessa and Hank When: Backdated to Friday evening Where: Dr. McCoy's office What: Borrowing a book, lots of flustering
Vanessa had finally finished up with all her finals. She wasn't exactly sure what to do with herself. She had put her focus on power study on examining Logan, which was much more difficult than any other assignment she'd given herself. She wanted something else to help pass the time, and suddenly remembered the possible book club. She hadn't had a chance to find the book. Maybe Dr. McCoy would have a copy in his office?
With that thought, she soon found herself wandering to the staff hall. Hopefully it would help pass the time tomorrow night. She didn't want to go to the dance, she didn't think. She paused at the start of the hall, fixing her sweater and picking a small piece of lint off her slacks. She liked looking her best for Dr. McCoy. She felt safest around him, and greatly enjoyed his company. Very few people noticed her. He did.
She finally was satisfied with her appearance - altered through it was, she still appeared in her fair-skinned, fair-haired, not abnormal at all form - and walked to his office. The door was open. She smiled faintly, glad he wasn't busy. She knocked on the door frame, then glanced in. "Dr. McCoy?" she said softly.
