Who: Vanessa and Dr. McCoy (he's a popular guy!)
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: His office
What: Advice
Vanessa looked quite a bit different than she usually did. She was still a very tall, slender, muscular young woman. She still had long hair, a serious look about her. But she was different. Her usually smooth, pale skin was a light blue. Her blue eyes turned red. Her hair went from blond to a stark white. It was a form only two people here had seen, Professor Xavier and Doctor McCoy. And, though she didn't know it, she had gotten stuck in this form because of words she had exchanged with the latter. He had tried to convince her that her natural form was perfectly normal. She hadn't yet admitted to it, but late last night, she shifted back to her normal form. And couldn't shift again. She went to bed, hoping she had hallucinated or something, had a bad dream. But she woke up and still couldn't shift.
She kept trying for several hours, afraid to leave the room they'd stuck her in, still with Theresa. She had to let her roommate see her true form, but she didn't want anyone else to see it. So she had put on clothes that covered as much as possible, looking considerably like Rogue, with a scarf, gloves, long sleeved shirt, jacket - everything she could manage. The scarf wrapped up around the lower half of her face. She tucked her white hair up into a cap, put on large sunglasses. Hints of blue were visible, between what the low visor of the cap, the sunglasses, and the scarf didn't cover, but it wasn't much. She looked pretty suspicious, though, and if she hadn't had the identifying factor of being one of the tallest women about, she might have been stopped early on in her venture out. Most of the others seemed quite concerned about changes happening to them. At least it wasn't only her, but she still felt quite... useless. She needed her powers back.
So she set out for the one person in the mansion she trusted above anyone else. Doctor Hank McCoy. She had meant to start staying away from him. Her feelings for him kept mounting, and threatened to jeopardize her mission. But she had to go to someone. She had to get this fixed, or she wouldn't be of any use to Weapon X anymore. And who knew what that would mean. She fixed everything, hand clutching the scarf closed in front of her face. Her other hand knocked. "D-Doctor McCoy?" she said in a soft voice, muffled by the fabric and the door.
