Vanessa was definitely starting to realize what was going on. She was more reserved with her words, and he was coming up with responses to things she didn't let leave her thoughts. She frowned a little, but it was lost in the hug. He couldn't help it, that's what she believed. Emma was powerful, with powers that Julian didn't have, so how could he help it? She felt vulnerable and exposed, though, as she realized he was in her thoughts, especially with the sort of thoughts she had toward him. She leaned her head forward against the front of his shoulder, their bodies fitting together like a puzzle. It was awkward, really awkward, standing like this with Emma's breasts right there. She held onto Julian, though, Emma's body or not, and felt her cheeks grow hot at his words.
"It is complicated though, Julian," she said through a sigh. "You have Sofia, and..." Vanessa hitched a breath. She never brought up Sofia. It made her jealous and she knew she had no right. "I don't want to mess that up for you." She hesitated again. Julian wasn't the only one who had someone, was he? Not that she had Regan in the same way, but she wasn't exactly single, was she? Ugh, this made her head hurt, too. She didn't know what to think of anything. Why was she the one on the side for everyone? "I... I have... that is..." She was spared trying to make sense of the jumbled mess in her head when Julian pulled back. Her eyes widened when she saw the nose bleed. "Oh, God, Julian!" She looked around, quickly yanking a sheet off her bed. She didn't bother tearing anything off, she brought it up to Julian's Emma face. "Uh... nose bleed... you have to..." She thought for a moment, glad to have something else to think about. "Pinch your nose, up here," she said, lifting the corner of the linen to the nose and pinching the bridge of it. "You should sit down, too. Take it easy. Try and... shut down the thinking?"
