Feeling her grip against the lapels of his furry cape sent him jerking forward. He tried to remember all the things Vanessa said about balance, but he hadn't exactly been listening. Something about not walking on his heels though, or... was it walk on his heels? Or was it... screw it, he had no idea, he wasn't a woman and he was new to this! His knees started to buckle, but that merely threw him off balance more. He pushed up, thinking hard now that he was spazing not to shift into Diamond form. This was how he went around breaking things, and it was the last thing he wanted to do to Vanessa. The maniacal click-clacking sound was like a tap dance from hell. Julian caught sight of himself in the mirror - or rather - Miss Frost in the mirror flailing, and snorted, which didn't help him with his balance problem. As expected, he did topple forward, pinning Emma's weight against Terry's body. He made careful motion to keep one hand behind her head as they fell. He tried to pull Vanessa up as they were tumbling back, an awkward attempt at taking the brunt of the blow, but it came most natural to him given the way they were falling and his urge to protect her.
"I am so sorry...!" His arm went to the other side of Vanessa as she still clung with one hand to his collar. He gave a quick check to make sure his 'sisters' were still in place, and they were, those beauties were rock solid and weren't going anywhere. He felt like he was embarrassing Frost more than he was embarrassing himself. He pushed himself up on his knee, which was between Nessa's legs. "A-Are you okay?" He probably shouldn't have looked behind him when assessing damages, because the tangle they were in was really hot. The cape was ridiculous though. Man, if this thing tore, Emma was going to kill him.
"This is my fault." He explained, feeling sheepish and stupid. He was aware - too aware - of the question she had asked him, but was trying to play it off like he hadn't heard her when they tumbled. "I'm sorry, are you okay baby?" He was now so much in his own head that he forgot about how mental that must have sounded coming from Emma. Julian couldn't stop thinking about their kiss, he wanted to kiss her too, do more than that, be more than that, he just didn't know how to tell her. He brushed it off, "It's nothing..." Julian mumbled but was still too preoccupied, unaware he was inadvertently leaning in and not making any motion to get off of her.
