Likewise, as Julian had never had telepathy before, Ness had never had to worry about telepathy anywhere near as much as she did in Terry's body. She wasn't even thinking about it... but Terry didn't have those mental shields. She had to worry about telepaths, and that was a terribly new concept. She chuckled softly at Julian's rambling. It kind of helped, really, his being cute -- and a little dorky. She was calming back down. But now she had thought about the times they made out, and was having a hard time getting the thoughts back out of her mind. She withdrew her hand from Julian's arm when the diamond receded. "Very much Frost." The thought of Frost, remembering to take in just Frost's form and not that it was Julian in there, helped a bit, too. She had no fond feelings for the professor at all, and could still remember her prodding around her head, almost finding out about Hank...
Nnn, maybe she didn't want to think about Frost. She sighed, but smiled through it. She caught the shift in Julian's facial expression, but paid it little mind. He was constantly changing expressions, though she had noticed he didn't do it so much in this form. She smiled a little wider - he could make even Frost's serious face cute. She was eager to take the change in direction, wanting to shake off the thoughts clinging to her mind. "Yeah, that sounds good. It's going to be a lot harder than standing, though, fair warning." She straightened herself back up and took an easy step back. She held her arm out toward Julian. "You can use me for balance whenever. I can handle it," she said with a grin that came out very flirty on Terry's face.
She was really, really glad she was finding something she could help Julian with. He always helped her so much, and she felt like she rarely had the chance to return the favor. And she liked seeing a smile on her best friend's face. "You're going to be better than me soon enough, though, I can tell," she teased. "You catch on so fast to everything." There was a lot of admiration in her tone. She really, really looked up to him, and wanted to make the most of this chance to be the one helping.
