Vanessa had no idea of the thoughts running through Julian's mind. It was probably a good thing she hadn't swapped with a telepath. She should have known by now, should have picked up on the signs, but she valued Julian far too much as a friend to risk thinking such thoughts. So she let her hands roam all over him, in Emma's rather well-kept frame. She wasn't used to being shorter than others. Five foot six was pretty average, but Nessa was used to a good six inches more. She straightened up when Julian insisted he "got it," though she was skeptical. "Julian, you shouldn't be going so fast, take the steps nice and easy," she said as she stood up. At least the heels gave her a boost, but then, so did the heels Julian had strapped on, so she still felt rather inadequate and short.
She was about to give Julian's shoulder a little push to make sure he really did have his balance, but just as she was finishing standing, diamond suddenly coated Julian's Emma Frost form. She reeled back a bit, and it was a testament to her skill in heels that even in the unfamiliar form and unfamiliar heels, she didn't topple over. She steadied herself, eyebrows raised. "What... What is it?" she asked, never having seen Emma's diamond form before. She kind of wanted to touch it...
