Vanessa, despite her obvious surprise, smiled a little at his troubles with the fur. Frost had an eccentric wardrobe, that was for sure. "Have you seen the whole thing?" she asked teasingly. A little of Terry's forwardness and flirty humor was rubbing off on her. "You certainly picked an interesting outfit to come out in." She wasn't sure how Julian, macho man, well, boy, that he was could possibly be coping in the very feminine body of Miss Frost. Especially considering she was his mentor. There had to be a lot of awkward. And she couldn't help noting that "Frost" looked just as good as she would have Friday morning. Julian's maintenance was impressive, to say the least. And terribly amusing, but she tried to hide her little chuckle as she took in the sight of Julian.
She nodded, stepping out of the doorway to let him in and closing the door after him. She let her gaze wander to the heels. She lifted a hand to her mouth, until she could get her smile to a smaller one again. "I see," she said, reaching out to take the shoes, turning them around in her hands. These would be a challenge even to trained professionals. "And you couldn't just wear her track outfits and white sneakers?" she asked with raised, red eyebrows. She smiled a bit as Julian threw his arms around her, and she returned the hug gently. She really, really wasn't used to being so much shorter than him. Or shorter than him, period. She gave him a tight squeeze, then led him to her bed. She patted on her bed, placing the heels down and inviting Julian to sit there. She traveled over to Terry's closet - her own shoes wouldn't fit Terry's feet. She hoped her roommate wouldn't mind. This was something of an emergency, after all. She grabbed a pair of similarly high heels from the closet. She was terribly, terribly used to these sorts of things.
"Then close your eyes when you're cleaning up and changing?" she suggested with a smirk as she sat down beside him to change her shoes. "You know that I'm pretty sure all of the guys here - and, hell, probably some of the girls - would kill to have the sight."
