Vanessa had been pretty much sticking to her room since her roommate, in her body, had gone on a date with Alex Summers, or whoever had swapped into Alex Summers's body. She wasn't sure yet. She kept clinging to the hope that Regan was just messing with her, that it had been her, since she didn't know of anyone else who would go out with Vanessa, but she wasn't sure anymore. Of anything. She felt very trapped in Theresa's body. Where she had once always been looking to be someone else, anyone else, to have a solid sense of identity... it was terrifying to her now to only have one option, to only stay as Theresa. She kept hoping that she'd pass out and wake up in her body, or just wake up and find out this was all some strange dream. As far as everything went, though, she felt a little luckier than most of the others. She'd been Theresa before; she was used to not being herself. And it wasn't like she couldn't control her powers, or find herself in some drastically different situation. She still wanted their version of normal back, though.
She was looking forward to Julian's visit, though. It would be a decent part of the weekend, at any rate. She was curious to see who he'd become, too. And what sort of help he'd needed. She perked up when she got his text. She pocketed the phone, glanced in a mirror (despite not being a shapeshifter at the moment, her loathing of mirrors remained) to make sure she was still looking okay as Terry, and opened the door. "Hey Jul-"
She stopped in the middle of his name. Her mouth remained open, dropping agape. No. Wait. Really? Vanessa stared for a few moments, until she realized she was probably making for a really awkward silence. She shook her head quickly, though she didn't - couldn't - blink. "Ju-Ju-Julian??" she asked, not quite believing it. Who else could it be, though?
