Julian knocked on Vanessa's door, he forgot he was wearing the most bad-ass combination of things he could find in Ms. Frost's closet. This cape was definitely the coolest thing he'd ever seen, he was pretty sure the fur was real, and it made him feel like a real superhero. He rubbed his clammy hands against the fabric of his skin-tight pants while he switched the phone in his hands.

And Julian waited, a pair of tall white boots were tucked under his arm. He could barely take two steps in them, and he was pretty sure Frost would break his legs if he sprained her ankle anymore than he already had. He managed to steal a pair of sneakers from his room and had been wearing them ever since, even though they looked completely ridiculous on Ms. Frost and were a little big in this body. He knew this was "unacceptable" though, and he didn't want to make Frost look bad anymore than he probably already did in her body.
