It took her a few moments to register his offer to take her home, it would take a drive back or thirty minutes or so to walk back. She took a deep breath before finally pushing her own nerves back down inside of herself, she held the breath and tightly closed her eyes and willed her energy to just calm down, to just turn off. It wasn't that easy of course, but she tried, and slowly the glow started to dim and her hair returned to its more natural blonde. Her nerves felt raw, but she wasn't shaking and within moments she was able to finally stand and look the other in the face, "I'd appreciate it...since we are heading the same way?" She questioned more than stated, unsure that she had really heard him say he was from the institute or if he had just been remarking she went there. That would be a whole other level of creepy actually.
She looked to the mouth of the alley, amazed at just how easy it was for the people out there to ignore a scream or yelp from a woman in an alley. It made her sad and wonder just how many women had been treated the same in this very alley, and why when there was an entire school near by filled with super-powered people...civil crimes were still so active. She crossed her left arm under her chest and rested her right elbow against her left arm, right fingers traced against her neck and into her hair by her chin, "I wish I could just teleport myself...my abilities seem so worthless." She laughed bitterly before finally looking to the other again, "uhmm...I know you said your name is Cloak...but I'm sure I've never seen you before."
