Josh kept his gold eyes firmly glued to the tile floor while Logan let him have it. The man definitely had a point and Josh was by no means ungrateful for the school taking him in and becoming his home when his parents disowned him. But that didn't change the fact that he was less than thrilled about this training team business. He just wasn't going to say anything else along those lines in front of the very angry Logan.
He stiffened at the mention of his argument with Vanessa, though he really couldn't be surprised that Logan had heard them. They had been yelling out in the hallway after all. But he was still a bit embarrassed about the incident when Logan brought it up. He hadn't wanted to make a scene but Vanessa had made that difficult to avoid when she followed him all the way up to his room. But that was a minor detail at the moment.
"I just don't know what you expect me to do. You don't even care about the training either and I'm pretty much useless during the challenges," he muttered in response.
