Tabitha grinned, waving her hands in the air. "I saw some of it by the pool. Man...it was Clash of the Titans, I'll tell you! Would have made for a great video." Feeling better as they gossiped, Tabitha started to relax more with Bobby.
It was normal, routine, and most of all safe. Tabitha didn't have to worry about weird mixed funny feelings, or saying the wrong thing, or coming across weirder than she usually was. She was glad to be hanging out with her best friend again, and could almost forget that they'd had that awkward bout of note passing that Ms. Frost caught them at. It was like things were almost back to normal, she didn't even feel mad or upset or nervous about it anymore.
Well...at least until the conversation lulled a bit. Tabitha had planned to mention to Bobby a brief outline of the shenanigans that had happened at Regan's place...but thinking on it she felt more than a little embarrassed. She was...odd lately. Seeing people differently, especially her friends. Most of all Regan and Bobby. But Tabitha couldn't think of how to phrase it all in a way that didn't make her look like a creeper. No matter how much she wanted to bring it up (though maybe not) the words stayed stuck in her throat. So as the gossip sort of dwindled and died on her end, she looked down at the floor and shuffled her feet a bit as her chair slowly swiveled. Glancing at Bobby he seemed as though he were thinking hard on something too.
"Sooo....uhh...anyway...um." Tabitha bit her lip. Should she bring up what had happened between them? What she'd been thinking lately? Would he still look at her the same or would it be like...bro-break up? She felt a flutter of apprehension rise in her.
Maybe she'd skirt the issue a bit. "I'm glad to...see ya. Sorry for hermiting lately, I've missed you." Tabitha mumbled.
