Vanessa had been more than grateful for the healing. She hoped it showed a hint of hope for any sort of camaraderie to start building between them, but he'd quickly moved on, and left her feeling even more useless than before. The worst part was that she couldn't fault him in the least. She didn't know the extents to which her betrayal had affected Josh, but she knew he showed no signs of forgiveness any time. She wasn't even sure if her talk with him would help, but she had to give it a try. She held back a sign when he wouldn't look back at her. He had to give it a try, didn't he? That was part of what being a team was all about.
She shook her head, going up the stairs after him. "Yes, we do. I know you don't like me, I know you don't trust me, but it's destroying our chances to get anything out of this training, and it's making the rest of the team suffer. We need to talk."
