"Oh, it sounds neat," Cess said easily, even if she couldn't picture the awesomeness that was a Kevin Ford original. Anything home made was just great in her book. Really, Kevin could have made her a paper snowflake and she would have loved it. But from the sound of it, he actually took time to not only think about what to make, but then to go ahead and make it and actually finish it - well, that was just wow. "Well, you're really creative," she started. "If its anything like that puffin thing, I'm sure its awesome."
Here, she just smirked at the skeptical expression claiming Kevin's features. She felt embarrassed because it was a stupid idea sure, but sometimes stupid ideas could still be fun if no one was too judgmental (Kevin Ford, what?) and decided to just roll with it. "C'mon," she encouraged. "At least keep me company...?" Came out sounding more like question. She hoped she wasn't going to have to play the birthday card on him.
"No ones around," she repeated. "No one will no." Cess tipped her head in the direction of the bouncy castle, a goofy grin tugging at the corners of her mouth.
