Once the worst of his injuries was mostly healed and the pain lessened, Josh was able to think much clearer. He opened his eyes when he heard Dr. McCoy speak again. He'd been so preoccupied that he hadn't even realized his arm was broken as well until it was mentioned and he glanced over at it. "Oh shit," he mumbled, seeing the sickening way it was bent. This was gonna suck.
"Just do it, quick," he said weakly, clenching his teeth and glancing over to Dr. McCoy. The sooner it was over the better. He hadn't seen Alex yet as the big blue man was blocking his line of vision, but that was probably a good thing as Alex still looked deathly terrified. Josh turned away and tried to muffle his scream into his good arm as Dr. McCoy expertly (though excruciatingly) popped the bone back into place. It took him several minutes of panting and cursing into his sleeve before he could focus on healing again. As soon as he was able to, he used just about the last of his energy to mend the fracture.
