Who: Brian, OT Tabitha and Regan Where: Pool When: Saturday morning (back date) What: Brian decides to go for a swim
As a superhero, physical fitness was important to Brian. If he were to get winded fighting a villain, that would be the end of his of his crime fighting career. Because of this, he always strived to keep himself in peak physical condition. He was ecstatic when he learned that the institute had a pool. Swimming was one of the best ways to strengthen stamina and build muscles.
When he woke up Saturday morning and saw how nice the weather was, Brian decided that a good workout was in order. He threw on his exercise clothes, wearing his swimsuit underneath. When he got to the pool, he disrobed. Like most athletes (and Europeans), Brian preferred a speedo to a pair of swim trunks.
An amulet, the size of a golden dollar, hung around Brian's neck. He hated having it exposed, but he feared taking it off more. The trinket was the source of his powers and the reason he became Captain Britain. The last thing he needed was to take it off to swim and have it lost or stolen. It was safer to keep it on.
He started stretching to warm up his muscles, before the swim. It would be hard for anyone who met Brian after his transformation into a superhero to imagine how he used to look. He once was a lean, slightly scrawny young man. His training, working out, and crime fighting had nearly doubled his size, making him resemble a linebacker. Every muscle was well toned and larger than most.
After warming up his body Brian jumped into the pool and began swimming laps.
