Sooraya had just finished unpacking her bags the day before, not that she had many things, the mission she'd been on had called for light packing. Today had started as every other day had, washing her hands and face before spending time praying in her room (though she had to once again get use to not having the seclusion she needed since she had a roommate). From there she'd decided that it was time to just get up, and so she washed again, dressed for the day in a slip dress that no one would ever have the chance to see and her normal black burqa and garb. The flowing material left everything to the imagination with no hemming or cinching to give away any idea to the toned curved body that lay underneath, only the startling amber and chocolate eyes that pierced out observantly from the soft curves of her cheeks and the burqa could be seen of her, and at times, the slender digits of her fingers. She'd moved quickly through the silence of the halls of the dormitory, grabbed a few simple pieces of fruit and decided to make her way to an area that would for sure be void of any human life on a Saturday morning, the schooling area. To be safe however she found herself making her way to the second floor and trying doors until she finally found one that had been forgotten and left open. The sun shined brightly, glaring off the snow that had fallen and making the room seem far more serene than it was when students occupied it. She moved like a shadow, seemingly gliding as she walked through the room, leaving the door open behind her, she grabbed a chair and set it against the edge of the farthest table (closest to the window, farthest from the door) and sat so she could look out the window. Her shoulders stayed squared, spine straight as she crossed her legs under the veil like dress of black fabric. She'd taken an apple and a banana from the kitchen, the banana was set on the table before she'd sat and made herself comfortable. Her left hand moved up towards her face, nimble fingers lifting the lower part of the burqa and seemed to pull the veil upwards and over her head, exposing her face to the sunlight, she smiled a little before bringing the apple to her mouth and taking a bite. She loved the comfort the burqa and her clothing offered her, but she also didn't mind not wearing them when she was alone. She sighed out contently, but at the first sound she would hear she would rush to pull the burqa back over her face and stand to face the door. |
