Despite the light, Tandy could see just fine- apparently her powers also kept her from being blinded by the intense light she created. Other light sources would have to be tested as well once Tandy wasn't trying to keep from freaking out more than she already was. So, though the room was lit up nice and bright, Tandy had a clear view of Dr. McCoy fumbling around for something. The sight of him using both hands and feet normally would have made Tandy laugh, if she hadn't been focused on the fact that she was blinding the nice doctor!
Taking a deep breath, Tandy managed to keep her voice even, though the light was still shining brightly. There had to be a limit to this, right? Tandy sure hoped so. "Okay, I'll try not to... to worry so much..." Tandy took another deep breath, and let it out as a laugh as Dr. McCoy put on the welders goggles. Absurd was certainly a good word for how he looked!
Smile back on her face, Tandy glanced briefly at the needle before closing her eyes tightly so she didn't have to see it. "I... I don't think it'll get brighter if I can't see you give me the shot, so... I'm going to keep my eyes closed. Go ahead... and please tell me when it's over..."
