As Dr. McCoy began to swab at her arm- the same arm that had taken a needle by force just a week ago, mind you- Tandy felt the fear starting to build up in her. She knew it was coming, she had been to the doctor before, she knew what swabbing her arm meant! But Dr. McCoy was so nice, he would never intentionally hurt her, right?! Tandy had to stay brave! She could do this, no problem! As long as she closed her eyes before he pulled out the needle she could-
OH GOD THAT NEEDLE WAS HUGE! Tandy's eyes got big a moment, her plan failing before it had even really started, as the ginormous needle (it was actually normal size, but to Tandy all needles seemed humongous now) was raised high for her to see. Poor choice, Dr. McCoy... poor choice.
Within seconds Tandy's energy was expelled as a blinding light filled the room, much to her surprise- she had only used the blinding light once before, and she hadn't really noticed because she was kind of tied up and worried about other things, like getting out and finding out what happened to her fellow captive. More importantly, Tandy didn't know how to turn off the light, but the idea of a needle going into her arm was only making her more nervous, and somehow making the room brighter. "A-a-a-a-a-ahhh, I'm s-s-s-s-sorry, Dr. M-m-McCoy! I'm just, r-r-r-really afraid of n-n-n-n-needles. I-I-I-I d-d-don't know how to t-t-turn this o-o-o-off!" Tandy spoke with a stutter that would have put her eventual boyfriend to shame as her nervousness got the best of her.
