Rogue was sitting on the floor right outside the entrance to the Dining Hall. She was cross-legged, with her hands resting lightly on her knees, working behind her closed eyes. Her breathing was slow as she concentrated on the inner workings of her mind. Her sessions with Miss Frost had helped, and talking with Jean had helped, and a couple meetings with the Professor had helped, but Rogue still had things she needed to sort out in her own mind before she would have complete--or almost complete--control. And whenever she got closer to control, she'd get excited and lose focus. That's why it was taking so long.
Her heart rate started to speed up a little as she was successful in de-fragmenting her mind for a little bit today. She lost focus, and frowned a little. Her eyes opened and she gave a little sigh. But she was close. She was so close she could taste it.
When she lifted her eyes, they came to fall on the silver girl who was in her museum group. ...Cessily. They'd talked on the journals, and... well, there was something going on between her and Kevin, too, wasn't there? She gave a tiny, sheepish grin. Must've looked funny for her to be sitting on the floor outside the Dining Hall.
