Usually Emma's presence did not inspire any sense of relief, but Julian was sure as hell glad to see her! He kept his eyes locked on the blue-haired girl, hesitant to let her go. "Sure... but-" Julian cut himself off. It was fairly useless to protest Frost's requests. If anyone could handle the situation, Frost definitely could, and if she couldn't then they were all royally screwed.
He lowered Nori down slowly, however very tempted to drop her. He kept his telepathic hold on her to keep her in place on the ground in case she tried anything funny. Julian didn't trust her, not one bit. "I tried to ask her what she was doing here, she kept saying she wanted to talk to the one in charge." And after everything that happened, Julian was the last person who'd allow a security breech with a lame-ass reason like that!
"When I pressed her, she started going crazy. I think she's on drugs. She doesn't look right." The briefing might have been totally unnecessary, but Julian felt the need to explain himself and give Emma the heads up.
