"That's .... true." Bobby began to argue, then caused to consider the validity of what she was saying. "Okay, it was half a headache. But it was so much pain that it felt like a full headache." Bobby exaggerated, not really in pain so much as discomfort after the whole situation. "Nah, it was really weird," Bobby mentioned about his sight. "Like, the eye kind of went in and out sometimes but for the most part it was fine. It was just like I was wearing sunglasses, just ... only one small piece of it." Bobby's vision was alright, but on the periphery is where he lost a lot of his sight from the crack. "By then it'll pretty much be healed," Bobby laughed, hinting that Jubilee would never be ready to throw herself at Josh. It was more a potshot at his buddy than Jubilation.
Rolling with the shove, Bobby laughed. He even gave a snort for good measure. Bobby was pleased with his joke. "Your days could be numbered! All it takes is the next challenging science project to make Kitty look around the room and figure out what's expendable!" Bobby would have laughed had he known that Jubilee was planning on asking a guy. How independent! He kind of liked that. "Not really...? So like, something fell through or you haven't been asked?" Bobby wanted to clarify before he made a fool of himself, but then that wouldn't be Bobby Drake. He went ahead and dove right in, scratching at the back of his head as if that was suddenly very interesting. "'Cause if you're free, I ... I don't know. Would you go to prom with ...me?"
