Tandy watched as Tyrone returned to his normal self, gently landing on the ground and falling instantly.
The look in his eyes hurt Tandy- she saw sadness, and worst of all fear. She knew she should have been more frightened considering what had just happened, and though at the time it was terrifying, she still felt something about it was... right.
As Tyrone spoke, however, Tandy knew he had not felt what she had felt. For Tyrone, there was nothing right about what had just happened, and though he was fighting it he seemed ready to surrender to his sadness.
Crawling over to him, Tandy whispered, "No, it's alright. Please, it's alright, I'm not hurt at all... Tyrone..." She looked at him a moment, unsure of what to do. Acting on impulse, she placed her hands on his cheeks and leaned in, kissing him gently.
