If only Julian were the telepath rather than the telekinetic. An unfiltered look into the mind and history of Emma Frost would teach Julian that she was far more bad than scary. And that would be saying something. Picking up the boy's nerves from just a quick surface scan, Emma continued acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary.
She observed Julian with his telekinesis, all but stopping what she was doing as if waiting for a moment to pounce upon. However, he seemed to set all the ingredients down well enough. "My my. You do seem to be a bit more careful now." She opened up the sugar to get it ready and set about to make her concoction. "It would appear fear is a grand motivator for stronger concentration," Emma couldn't help but call Julian's true feelings out. She was a bitch like that.
Had she been reading his mind more in depth, perhaps she would break off into the usual lecture that people fear what they do not understand. Even though they knew or suspected they were mutants, a number of the students had turned into miniature bigots just because they were afraid and weren't sure what they were dealing with when it came to their fellow classmates.
