"I don't know if I can," Draco admitted. "My body is tired, but my mind is too busy with new ideas." He sighed. "I spoke with John about his world, one much like this. I was saying that if there are wizards, they are probably hiding somewhere, letting Muggles dying out, and you know what? I still think that's a possibility. I heard that they have places hidden away where they keep young and old. Wizards could easily do the same. Look how much we can do with magic in the middle of Los Angeles, imagine how much more we could do hidden away at Hogwarts."
He should have liked the idea of a world where Muggles disappeared. He didn't particularly care for them nor did he think he had any use for them, but this was devastating. "They need to find wizards and whatever else there's hiding here. It's the only way to get it done, because this is so... useless. Society doesn't mean being alive. Society means a community, means traditions, means shared beliefs. It's why I don't feel like the bus is any of that. This isn't that. They need to form that or it's all for nothing, because survival can't be enough."
He cast a simple cooling charm for a moment and then smiled. "I want to create a cooling bubble. The problem is that a true cold bubble would endanger the people, but something around each individual so that when those cyborgs scan us, there heat is well below what a human body should have."
