RP: Draco/Open
Who: Draco/Open
When: early evening, January 26th
Where: Somewhere in the tunnels
What: Draco isn't pleased
Draco was more than upset. There had been a loud siren and then orders to move out. It had been around eight. He thought that they Apparate to that stupid Hollywood sign and then it'd be over. He had been wrong.
It had been pitch black up there and there was no way to Apparate to any tunnel because without knowing where they were going, there was a high likelihood that they would end up splinched or stuck inside a wall, and it wasn't like they could make a quick trip to St. Mungo's if that happened. Instead, they had to walk. It wasn't an easy walk either. The trek involved going up and down hills, on unpaved trails, in the dark, having to stop when they heard machines above or on the ground. Draco had been lucky to have Remus help him more than once with balance. Even then the trek ended up being almost close to four hours.
The trek had been educational, because Draco had paid attention to his companions, but now he needed to know who could do what. The people who heard the machine were pretty much the same who could have done the trek in less than an hour: Steve, Bucky, Remus, Elizabeth, Roman. He could see the way their heads moved toward sounds no one else heard. Then there was Peter who could have done it in minutes and Marcus who seemed very comfortable with the trek. There were the four members of the resistance who had no super powers, but walked like this was normal. He kept thinking that it would have been so much easier with magic, but they didn't have that.
Once they reached the tunnels, they walked even more, because they wanted to be sure that no one was looking for them. It was close to one in the morning when they finally found a place to sleep. Steve woke them up at around eight. Draco knew that some of the others were already up, but he would have loved to stay longer in his transfigured bed. During the day, they did more walking, stopping for lunch and dinner courtesy of Sabrina. The four members of the resistance stared and ate so much that they got sick, before eating some more.
Finally, during the early evening they made camp for the night. Normally, he wouldn't care, but after close to twenty four hours walking around with the same people he was willing to help with creating beds for anyone who asked, before putting enough spells around the area to warn them if anyone came close. After that, he sat in his bed trying to modify a cooling charm to put a bubble around them so that the machines wouldn't register their body temperatures.
