Re: Theo and Loki - Late Evening
Shifting so that they were seated closely together, Loki linked his arm through Theo's and pulled him close. With a small wave of his hand, he magicked up a blanket to wrap around them. He didn't feel the cold himself, but it helped him feel even closer to Theo.
"I think I may always worry about you," he said, looking thoughtful. It was still a little strange to him, though he could no longer imagine his life without Theo. He'd only just learned to really care about someone other than himself when he arrived on the bus, after all. And now, a few short months later, he found his life and his self completely changed and mostly for the better. "I would have you next to me for the rest of eternity."
Smiling softly as he once again looked out at the barren wasteland that stretched out before them, he rested his head against Theo's. "I did not think you had regrets, but we may have to deal with certain people when we are eventually called back to the bus." He didn't really want to, of course, but Loki was all too aware that the Captain would likely try to interfere in some way with them again in the future. Or at least, there would be another world with another mission where he insisted he was the one and only true leader. Loki felt almost desperate for that not to be the case. In his mind, the real leader was and always would be Tony, but with not many people willing to rock the boat, it seemed unlikely they could avoid a similar situation in the future, try as they might.
"I am all for coming up with a plan to avoid him, by the way. We just need to come up with one."
