Re: Group C {Stephen, Peter M., John, Sabrina, Roman, Marcus, and Sarah}
"Do not attack them unless they attack you. Defensive action only. We're not here to take the camp down. We're here to get our people out safely." John refrained from pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. He had a new appreciation for his future self's position if this was what he had to deal with while leading the Resistance.
"Look, I don't know a thing about magic. I do know that Skynet is going to monitor the radio bands because that's what the Resistance uses. It's going to be sensitive to electrical surges and shifts at the quantum level because those are the primary forms of energy it deals with directly. So, if you're telling me your magic only operates in those spectrums, fine." He wasn't going to argue someone into using a power John himself didn't understand how it worked. "But, if your hesitancy is the visible effect, that is exactly the reason I pointed out the camera blindspot. They won't see it. And Peter just confirmed it's a blindspot."
Clicking the clip into his rifle, as he's spent the time they were all arguing checking his gear and getting ready to move, he stared at their team lead. "If we're not using your fancy dimension, then we keep to the shadows and go on foot. Peter remains our forward scout. I'll take point, everyone else single file but stay close, Sarah cover our six. Marcus keep to the middle. Stay low, keep to what cover there is, and stay quiet. Do not engage unless they attack first. Now, we're an a timer if we're going to get this done before dawn. So, which is it? Hidden dimension or my way?"
If Dr. Strange wanted to abdicate his leadership role, they didn't have time to argue that, either. John would do what had to be done just as he always had.
