RP: Draco/Remus
Who: Draco/Remus
When: afternoon, 4th January
Where: Draco's room
What: they talk about growing up, friendship and the future
They were finally free of whatever gifts the Old Ones had given them. He didn't know what benefit they should have gained from this, but he didn't think that they would know either if questioned. They were too old to think in human terms, or wizarding terms. A life that lasted over a century was still short compared to immortality. However, it wasn't any deep thought in immortality that was distracting him.
He and Remus were in his room, talking about... well, he wasn't really sure, because he kept getting distracted. There was something about training, which Draco was most definitely not going to do. He had no reason to be in a gym for hours. If something happened, he could disapparate and let these brave Gryffindors fight, and he was pretty sure that Remus would fight, because he might be a unique Gryffindor, but he was still a Gryffindor.
"I'd like to ask you something and feel free not to answer," he finally asked as he shifted on the couch to look at Remus better. "Sirius, he was different from what I expected. He was different from what Aunt Bella and Mother said, and I don't mean whether he liked the family or not. They seemed to talk about him like a man, but while here, he was very much a boy, and I'm sure it's because they were younger too, but you grew up with him and then you aged. With that in mind, do you think it's possible that even friendships like yours can become shadows of what they were?"
