Who: Lucius and Druella Where: Black Hall When: Mid-Morning Why: She asked to see him Rating: Low Status: Closed/Incomplete
Lucius sighed as he got ready to go meet his mother-in-law. He could not think of a reason why she would want to meet with him without his wife, though he supposed he would find out soon enough. He was due there in about ten minutes as it was. Making sure he looked presentable he made his way to the fire place before grabbing a pinch of floo powder and flooing to Black Hall. Stepping out of the fireplace he saw a house elf waiting there for him. "Master Malfoy!" it said excitedly before taking his cloak. "Mistress Black is this way," they said before Lucius followed him to the sun room.
Druella had been thinking about having this meeting for awhile now and finally decided it was time to get it over and done with. Therefore she had instructed Lucius to arrive now at her house to talk. She had purposely not told him what she wanted to talk to him about as it would make him nervous. Make him think he was in trouble, which he wasn't. She was just worried about something that was all. Instructing a house elf to go wait in the room where the floo came out she turned and summoned another one ordering it to get them some tea and biscuits. Once she was done she sat back and waited for him to arrive. Five minutes later, he did.
Entering the sun room, Lucius saw Druella sitting there with a tray of biscuits and a tea pot obviously waiting for him. Walking towards her, he took her hand and kissed it. "Lady Black," he said, "It is a pleasure to see you again." He wasn't uncomfortable being so formal to her but he often called her Druella. It was in this situation however that he thought being so formal was called for.
Druella smirked slightly at his behaviour. She had offered her hand to be kissed to see how he would react and her suspicions were proven correct. He thought he was in trouble. "Please, I thought I had told you to call me Druella," she said smiling at him. While it was fun to keep him on edge she wasn't one to normally do something like that. She much preferred to have people relaxed around her. "Have a seat and help yourself to some tea and biscuits," she said waving a hand at the chair across from her.
