Who: Sirius and Mary What: Sirius attempts to cheer her up. When: After this. Where: The lake? Since that's where she said she'd be? Rating: TBA, not high.
Sirius had been in a spectacular mood ever since he and Remus had returned home from Andie's this past weekend. It was almost tangible, his good mood. He was smiling more, whistling a lot - there was a definite skip in his step and while normally this wasn't odd - it was now given the fact that him and James hadn't spoken in nearly a week. Sirius missed him more than he would care to admit, but his mind was too wrapped up with Remus to really notice. Not to mention he was terribly stubborn.
Still, this was all beside the point, the point was that Sirius was in a spectacular mood and his moods tended to be infectious. While normally Sirius did not venture very much outside the confines of the Marauders when it came to hanging out with others (before it had generally been to snog birds but -- well -- he was currently snogging Remus and only Remus so that was no longer necessary.) he found he was worried about Mary. Mary tended to be an exceptionally nice, generally happy sort of girl and seeing her so down was terribly worrisome so he had taken it upon himself to cheer her up and cheer her up he would.
Going down to the lake after classes were over in hopes of finding the girl, he absolutely beamed when he spotted her there with her guitar. "Mary!" Sirius called, waving his arms theatrically to get her attention as he approached.
