Sirius felt his heart wrench in his chest as Remus made to move, and Sirius shook his head -- too baffled with what he was feeling to speak as he brought his hand to Remus' shoulder and pushed him back down on his bed. "Remus" he tried instead, his voice breaking as he paused to clear his throat, looking away from him and out the window. He had spent the past few hours thinking about what he felt for the other boy. He fancied him, but he had known that. What he hadn't known was how much he fancied him. He wanted to be his boyfriend. He wanted them to be exclusive, official. He wanted Remus.
"I -- don't." Sirius tried, finding it hard to say the word sorry. Sirius rarely, if ever, apologized. "I -- that was uncalled for. -- You know, before" Sirius said in a gruff voice.
