With the technology not being up to par like it would have been it been on the Enterprise, Nyota was doing the log on the laptop that was sitting on the kitchen table, pushed to the wayside since she truly wanted to experience this time and decided she was going to keep a personal writing journal. One that would reflect on her time here and the surge of emotions she seem to experiences here on her own.
One of the main emotions lately seemed to be longing, she longed for her time, the ship, and she missed Spock, more then she willing to admit even in her journal. Although her daily actives didn’t reflect it, at night when she was in bed, she missed him the most. It was not the sex that she missed, but the intimacy they shared. The countless conversations, even about work, the gentle touch of hands, the chaste kisses, she missed him.
She was in the middle of scribbling down random things that she should be doing instead of writing when she heard a knock on the door. She paused in mid-sentence to listen and heard the crisp knock again. She pushed back from the table, stood up Nyota was dressed very casual since she didn’t go out today and didn’t have any plans for visitors. “Coming!” she called out as she straighten her purple t-shirt and made sure her shorts weren’t riding up as she walked over to the door.
