Maureen wanted nothing more than to take Joanne in her arms and kiss her passionately when she voiced that she still wanted to keep Maureen forever.
"I want you too, Joanne," she said quietly, afraid her on voice may betray the emotions running through her body. "I've been lost without you. I've had the chance to seriously consider things while I've been waiting on you. I know what I want now, more than ever."
She said nothing more but held Joanne's eyes hoping the emotions and sincerity were apparent.
