Ella listened to Tierney say she was okay. She didn't believe her but she wasn't going to push her too much. She didn't want to impose, besides she was sure Tierney knew herself best. Ella wasn't going to act like she knew more than Tierney did because truth be told she didn't know her very well. Last time they encountered each other it was under dire circumstances. It wasn't the ideal situation to get to know people because they were focusing on staying safe and making it through the night.
As she listened to Tierney's idea, she nodded. "I like that idea. I'll be right back." She walked into her room briefly and grabbed her cell phone. She knew she couldn't make calls, but maybe she could use it to prove she was hearing what she said she was hearing. The minute she entered her bedroom she heard the children laughing in the room next door. She exited the room and joined Tierney again. "Are you sure you didn't hear laughter while I was gone?" she asked, quirking a brow.
