"Yes, you," Kyle confirmed. "You don't think that this is crazy? I mean, not bad crazy - good crazy. But crazy all the same. Meeting here. Just kinda... falling into things. Getting swept away. Yeah - it's kinda the craziest things I've ever done."
Adam smiled and nodded, pulling Kyle down for another kiss. "I thought you were going to say that it was crazy because it was me in general." And he was relieved that that wasn't it. "Okay though. This is a little crazy. But I like it."
Kyle went with the kiss, splaying himself out over Adam's chest, not pulling back to answer as they broke. "Oh yeah - being into you is totally crazy, I don't know what the hell I was thinking," Kyle joked, clearly not meaning it at all. "No - it's not you. It's this. I hadn't even planned to kiss you yesterday. And now I practically dragged you into bed. Or actually dragged. I don't think there was any 'practically' about it. There was definitely dragging. Though... you don't seem to be complaining at all."
"There was dragging," Adam confirmed, running his fingers through Kyle's hair. "And I'm I not complaining. All of this feels good. There's no reason to complain."
"You.... could complain that you still haven't managed to have a proper date," Kyle teased.
Adam shook his head. "I think this was totally a proper date. It just went backwards that's all." He smiled and kissed Kyle again, though it was a quicker more relaxed thing. The date, the situation, it should all be weird because it was a guy and Adam hadn't been like this with a guy or found himself in a place where he was interested enough, but that part wasn't bothering him. Not really at least. It bothered him more from lack of experience than the actual act. Maybe Kennedy was right, he just liked someone, not caring about if they were a guy or a girl. Or maybe he just liked Kyle.
"That's true," Kyle mused. "So, are you going to be all gentlemanly and walk me back to my room at the end of the date? Kiss me goodnight at the door?" he suggested, a smile playing across his lips. It was very tempting just to decide to stay the night, but he'd already pushed things so far tonight, and he should be a good boy about some things.
Adam's smile slipped away, but he didn't say why. "Of course. All of that." He'd do it, without a doubt, but he'd really hoped Kyle would just stay and not leave, but that was his own issues surfacing wasn't it? If Kyle wanted to go, he could go.
