Plot Post and Summary for Mid-December

I. Mod Summary

►Notes from the mods
First of all, we have a new journal (

first_warnpcs) in case anyone missed it the first time around. Good for NPCs of any and every variety. Enjoy.

Other than that, we're fully into the holiday count-down, which of course also means finals for those of you in school still. Lovely time of the year, provided you love Death By Pencil-stabbing. Good luck to all of you in class, and remember that while we are always here to provide distraction if you need a break, studies and family most definitely always come first, so if this is a light month I'm not exactly going to cry over it. With that in mind, I'm going to push back one of the plot ideas I was going to have scheduled for December to January, so we've only got one major event to worry about. (Two if you count Christmas as a 'major' RPG event, I guess.)

►Character gains and losses
Everyone welcome Peter Pettigrew and Stacey (the Second) to the line-up!
Also welcome Rita Skeeter as Alex's second character!
Once again, we have lost no characters. This makes your ol' mod's heart all warm and fuzzy. ♥

►Incomplete logs
It's mid-month. Obviously we have a lot of these floating around. Make sure you stay in contact with the other players since the notifications are sporadic, your partner may not know it's their turn.

II. Major Plot Events

►Ongoing Events
An Order member has been captured! Seriously, the other Order members should make plans to rescue her. After all, who knows what the Big, Bad Death Eaters might be able to *cough cough* persuade her to give up about them.

►Upcoming Events
Christmas is around the corner, folks. For us and our characters.

III. This Month In Review

►
Jake finally gets out of the house, but runs into Sirius and does not enjoy the result.

Edward finds new employment for Alecto working in what amounts to a biological research facility.

Bellatrix and Alecto commit a series of murders as a distraction while Ministry budget meetings take place. Several people are upset by this.

Mopsa starts her first game.

Remus continues his work with the werewolves.

Sirius and Narcissa exchange words unwillingly on Diagon Alley.

Bill challenges Gaby to a duel and finally gets his date with her after he lets her win.

Ellory Dodge (NPC Order Member) and her partner Nigel are caught by Bellatrix Lestrange while responding to a routine call. Nigel dies and Ellory is captured.
