I. Mod Summary

►Notes from the mods

Hey, everyone! It's been a great first month, and you guys have a mod who's just pleased as punch over the way things are going. Everyone's getting along well and seems to have great enthusiasm, so keep it up! There hasn't been much in the way of plot so far, but as the cast grows and as people get settled in, more stuff will be coming down the line. As always, I'm fully open to people coming up with plots or expanding on mod-prompted plots, so don't be shy!

Heads up, I'm going to be out of town from Dec 3 to Dec 18. While I'm gone, Lara and Stacey will be running things in my absence. Do what they tell you, mind your manners, no scary movies, and go to bed on time. Okay, but really, I don't anticipate any need for the modly powers to come out but if a situation arises I have faith in those two to take care of it. Consider them me with split-personality. ♥

This month has been a crazy one for adding people, so please do me a favor and stop by the Character Attributes table and Contact List and make sure everything looks good. Leave a comment if something needs to be changed and I'll hope on it ASAP.

II. Major Plot Events

►Ongoing Events

Bellatrix and Alecto are wreaking merry havoc still. Every two days a different attack occurs, including two explosions (one in muggle London, one on Diagon Alley) and five dead bodies mysteriously turning up.

►Upcoming Events

Two events requiring NPCs have been planned for this month. One NPC has been taking, but I'm still looking for a volunteer to play a Death Eater who spills some very important information to the Order. Anyone interested, just contact me. You all should know by now I don't bite. ^_~

►Behind the Scenes

Most of what's going on has to do with the holidays. Everyone's getting into the spirit as December rolls around, which means the commercial centers are getting busier, tempers are running high, and the MLE is putting in even more overtime than before to keep the holiday goers safe.

The last few games of the regular Quidditch season are also due to take place in December, so sports fans will have plenty to talk about. Currently the Puddlemere United and Tutshill Tornadoes are tied for first place, but the Chudley Cannons aren't far behind. The top 8 teams will be in the Championship Cup in January/February.

The small acts of violence so common in England these days have slacked off a little, but many people say it's just the calm before the storm.

The main political topic of the holiday season is the Ministry's attempts to get people to spend more, in an effort to stave off an economic recession. Other hot topics include the rise in (non-DE) organized crime, the Minister's approval rates, and, oddly, the installation of a new dragon reserve in Wales.

III. This Month In Review

Lily tries to get people to help her with vandalism that's been sweeping Diagon Alley, but gets a lackluster response. She makes a new friend, at least.

Sirius drinks a lot, and drags other people into his debauchery.

Edward Nott throws a Death Eater tea party and gives Bellatrix a new project, while Alecto and Lucius get acquainted.

Remus runs into Lucius Malfoy in a less-than-reputable setting, and Lucius tries to 'woo' him with employment.
