Monica only smirked at Akira’s slightly defensive comment. Eyes raised again in amusement. She nodded, as if to say ‘Ahh, haaa. Sure.’ Of course still teasing with him.
That was true, Monica often did switch things up when folks when around expecting other things of her. Didn’t do it on purpose, she’d probably not even notice she reacted that way.
That was true, was plenty of things Akira did that Monica thought him weird for. But his weirdness made him stick out in her mind. She however didn’t notice the second curious look, or really the head tilt. It was out of character for her, considering it was Monica.
