"Wha? Ya be sneakin' on folk an' ya likely ta hear 'em say all sorts o' things." Not that he really minded or anything. Was kind of amused by her teasing, really. And nope, swearing was saved for special occasions. Like when he was spooked real good, or when he dropped a heavy wrench on his toes.
Probably a good thing he didn't expect her to say anything then. Not that he really expected her to say anything if he were to just point blank ask what was wrong either. Wasn't a good plan to expect things of Monica since that seemed to be when she did something different.
It seemed fair that he finally got to think of her as weird for something since he was sure she (and the others) often thought him weird for things he did. His only response to Monica grabbing his shoulder was another curious little look, this time accompanied by a head tilt. Although if she were to fall on him it would make them sort of even for him throwing the two of them outta her seat last time they'd talked.
