When she walked closer he didn't move or anything, though he did look a little wary at first. She might be tiny, but Monica wasn't exactly big either, and Monica could be really scary when she needed to. When she just stood there though, most of the wariness left. Not all since, hey, he still didn't know her.. and while it was mean, he eyes kind of freaked him out a little.
He was all sorts of curious as to why she wouldn't say anything. But figured it was more important to keep track of her answers instead of worrying about it. With his luck he'd dwell on her not talking and miss everything she had to say.
At her thoughtful look Akira looked even more curious. And when she started with the hand gestures he was strangely reminded of Thadd the night he was in the kitchen with Monica. He watched her carefully and tried to process it all. "'Kay, so, uh, ya love then engine?" He patted the wall closest to him, "course ya do, best engine anywhere." When she held up her finger, he looked even more curious. Though his face broke into a huge grin when she skipped. "So ya know Cap!" Mimicking her, he place his hand over his chest. "Guess ya love Cap, or Cap loves ya?" Thoughtful, "or ya love each other?" Shaking his head a little, "or somethin' else entirely?" He didn't think he was very good at this game at all.
