Simon shrugged slightly; he really didn’t know how long he’d been standing there; although he answered her with a “Not long at all.” He didn’t think he’d been standing too long. He was more concerned with why River didn’t want to eat. Was it the medication again, or something else? He shrugged it off for now. Nodding as Dori spoke to him. “Sounds to be interesting in what particular manner?” Simon stepped closer to her glancing at the things she was getting ready.
Since the only real time the two would have come across each other today would have been at breakfast, and lunch, and he was only seen for a few minutes before he disappeared again with two plates of food; one for him, and one for River. Simon hadn’t had a chance to talk to Dori yet about the late evening he had. “Umm, sorry for not coming down earlier this morning to help you change the patients bandages. Had a late night after you went to sleep, and then well was looking after my sister. She didn’t have a good night it seems.” Simon really didn’t know what it was; maybe she’d just picked up on something on ship. He really wasn’t sure anymore what caused her bad days, because simply the paranoia cause by the Alliance monsters.
Simon had left a note for the woman earlier, detailing what happened with Ms. Walker and why he had to borrow her equipment. He looked at her, curiously. “Did you get the letter I left on your desk?”
