Emerald noticed Dori eyeing Talos’ weapons. She frowned some, thinking Monica had taken them all to be locked away properly. Emerald didn’t mind Monica with her six shooters, came in handy sometimes. But she wasn’t sure on new crew, even if he was more than trained in the use of them, especially since she wasn’t entirely ignoring Monica’s warnings.
And mostly because Dori’s curiousness about the guns, she looked over at Talos. “You wouldn’t mind disarming, and placing your weapons to the side, while they work with you. Do you now, Mr. Markhan?” Although it had all the illusion of being a question, it really wasn’t. It was an order, especially since Doctor Tam seemed a bit edgy at the sight of the weapons.
Not that Simon wasn’t use to large men running around on ship with weapons; Jayne did it plenty, and the sight of weapons didn’t bother him, but it was a combination of not knowing Talos, his current concern and worry, and well, that was mostly it. Simon Nodded at Talos’ nervous greeting, but didn’t say much more.
