Simon had left a note, well, a letter since it was in fact rather detailed. He’d placed it in her office, on the desk. Figuring it was the best place to put it, so to be found. He’d wanted to talk to her in person, but he’d headed to bed and to spend a bit of time with River. She hadn’t seemed to have slept very well during the night. Of course Monica didn’t know where the letter was; she hadn’t even known what it was Simon had done. Besides the apparent bracing of her hand, which felt numb at the current moment.
Monica nodded, noting the doctor tone. She didn’t partially like being poked and prodded, and she looked incredibly annoyed and uncomfortable at it. But, she’d quietly sat, letting the doctor do her job. However, if it’d been Simon she most defiantly wouldn’t have sat still, or for that matter let him touch her at all.
Monica had figured that was the reason, was more mornings she woke up getting sick because of the alcohol, or rather more to say her hangovers. So, medication mixed with it really didn’t surprise her in the slightest. Of course she could have started yelling at what did the Doctor meant mix of drugs and liquor, but, for anyone that knew Monica. Knew she drank often, everyday when she had it, and if it made any sense Monica functioned better when she’d been drinking than when not. It actually took quite a bit for her to get drunk, though often enough she purposely drank more. It was something that, in the captain’s opinion, needed to be dealt with. But nothing really had been even said to her, though lately like her behavior in general, it was getting worse. She shrugged about the crackers; she supposed it would help. “Coffee??” She asked sort of side handily. Not knowing if it’d help any, but, it usually did.
The red head eyed Gregorio; he should have stayed in his bed. She sort of glared, what was he doing out. Not the sort of look most would expect from somebody they fetched a doctor for. Although, Monica hadn’t been overly worried about it, was more annoying than anything. She should have been grateful that he’d been concerned. But, Monica wasn’t the type, and she defiantly wasn’t going to show it. “Ya shouldn’t a gotten outta bed then, genius.” Monica replied to him concerning the, his legs were numb, comment. It really wasn’t her being mean, it was just her. She chuckled slightly, as if the Doc would let him fall. She was very mothering in her doctoring way, Part of why she didn’t like being in the infirmary so much, though it was only a small part; but she didn’t like being fused over. Not really.
