While Monica was still leaned over Dori took in the other woman's appearance, a visual sweep for anything that could be wrong with her. Of course she took in Monica's braced hand, realizing the brace was more serious then the one she'd had before and wondering what the woman had done to it this time.
She felt sympathetic as the red head continued to heave, but she doubted her patting her pat would be of any comfort or welcome, so the sympathy was all she offered. While she waited for Monica to lean back she looked around to see if Simon had left any notes on what, if any, medications she'd been given or anything else she needed to know.
When Monica leaned back finally, she nodded to the woman and spoke in her doctor tone, which was a low and soothing sort of tone. "Okay then Walker, just gonna check out a couple lil' thin's here ta be sure." And without really waiting for Monica's consent or comment she did a quick examine. Gently prodding her stomach to checking that nothing was ruptured, checking if she had a concussion, the normal things that might make a person heave like that and be dangerous. She sort of figured it was a simple thing from the drugs she'd been given, but wouldn't make her a very good doctor if she just assumed and it turned out to be something more.
Once she'd finished her quick run down, she stepped back a little and nodded again. "Like I thought, yer gonna be fine Walker." And in case the woman was curious as to why she'd been bent over and loosing her stomach contents. "Seems ya didn't much like the combination o' drugs and liquor runnin' through ya system." Not much she could do to help that, but she offered, "can get ya some crackers, ifin' ya want?"
Then she turned and walked toward where Gregorio was. "She is," the doc nodded as she crouched in front of him. "And what 'bout you?" While she was glad he'd gotten out of his bed to find a doctor, she was also worried he might of hurt himself doing so.
