Monica had to keep down the enormous chuckle that had threatened to escape her lips the moment she heard the man’s words. It was rather true what he’d said. Monica just knew lots of folks’ rattled things off, and usually it was just that, chatter. If it was any truth to it, she’d learn in time. Or maybe the other man thought it’d been alright to say in since she was head of security on the boat that’d he’d be signing up with soon. But still Wheeler’s words had some logic to them.
When she heard Joey call her missy, she couldn’t help but to think of Oddball. Not that the man was really stupid enough to call Monica that, but he did with several other of the gals on ship. Not that it was stupid in the sense of the word, but Monica wasn’t one to be thought of in connection to the word missy. But she keep the want to hit him for it under the surface, he didn’t really know did he that it wasn’t something to call her. Though she did turn to him, head tilted slightly, “Walker!” She said in a perhaps louder than she thought it was tone. “Name’s Walker.” And then to his actual question; no she wasn’t alright, in fact she felt like she’d get sick all over the floor. “I just… I’m fine.” She determined that why the hell would she discuss what’s wrong with him, besides the fact she’d found herself oddly more passive than she was wanting to be. And also, was that spots in the corner of her vision?
[OOC: Ohh my gosh, almost fell out of the chair laughing. I blame Monica for being so mean.]
