"I'm offended. I've been nothing but nice to you." which, in a sense was true. What had she ever done that was bad to him? Nothing, yet. He was doing just what she needed him to do. "Actually, I think I'd rather go to the movies." they were always so entertaining, some of the things people came up with. The movies where the devil rises again, or all hell breaks loose. It was funny to see how people saw what hell on earth might be like.
Of course she followed, she always followed, even if he didn't know it. "Want some help?" she asked happily as she fell into place beside him, a grin still on her face. "Sure you can. That's why you didn't need me to save you from the demons, and you didn't need me to make the gun work." and a little more quietly, "And you don't need me to help your brother. You've got it all under control, don't you?"
Her arms crossed over her chest as she walked, peering at him from the side to see his reaction. She was right, even if he wouldn't admit it. He may not like the idea of it, but he was alive today because of her, and he was able to kill demons with a gun because of her. He knew more about his past now because of her. She may be a demon, but right now she was the closest thing he had a guardian angel. Not that she would call herself that, because he intentions were nothing the same, but it did make some sense.
