1:17a	and thus endeth the woes → about Thus Endeth is a private group storyline that takes place during the fourth season of Angel and the seventh season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Our goal is to keep this a close-knit game, dwelling on talented and relatively dedicated players. Original characters are more than welcomed to the game - encouraged, even - if they are well developed and have a solid background. 1:44p	After the near destruction of Hogwarts in the summer of 1998, several changes were decided upon during its reconstruction. Hogwarts had always been a great place for learning, but lacked what some of the other magical schools had: a well-rounded education that focused on more than just magical mastery. With a helping hand from the newly established Ministry, several elective clubs and activities were created and formed to encourage expanded learning. These changes have evolved over the years, slightly changing as professors came and went at the school, but never quite disappearing. In fact, Hogwarts has become very event-oriented and is now hailed as a hands-on teaching school. There is still some harsh criticism from certain media outlets and former Hogwarts students that remember how the school used to be run. In fact, some would call the need to implement art as something required for learning to be quite piffling. *** Piffled is a game set in the school year 2022-2023, focusing on students from 5th to 7th year. An event oriented game, students are encouraged to participate in as many clubs, school activities, and events as possible. WANTED: POSEIDON, HERA, HESTIA, and MORE Many characters available! The Greek gods were known to meddle in the lives of mortals. They had scandalous affairs, unleashed curses, and orchestrated wars that decimated populations. But what happened before that? Hesiod speaks of the beginnings of the Greek pantheon, the start of the reign of the Olympians. The sons of Cronus drew lots to divide the cosmos, and each established his reign over a third of the world. Zeus had two wives before Hera, and numerous liaisons that were soon over. What happened to Metis? And Themis? What of Mnemosyne, and Eurynome, and Demeter? What led Poseidon to take the Sea Goddess Amphitrite to wife? And how did Persephone catch Hades' eye? 8:30p	The year is 2023 and Hogwarts’ first year under the reign of its new, tyrannical Headmaster, Tiberius Odgen, has come and gone. Students are free to enjoy their hard-earned summer beyond the reach of their stern faculty and archaic standards of conduct, no longer victims of dictations regarding everything from the volume of their laughter to the proximity they must maintain from the lakeshore (and members of the opposite sex!). The older students leaving their seventh years behind them enjoy this time with a sense of nostalgia and excitement as they prepare to enter the next phase of adulthood; some seeking employment and others leaning toward the option of tertiary education. Yes, slowly but surely, the Wizarding World has come to mirror its Muggle counterpart by founding Wizarding Universities, with Britain’s two establishments located in Scotland and England promising to turn determined academics into the kings and queens of tomorrow. But summer will only last so long. For all the younger kids, from fifth year to seventh, it’s only a matter of time before Hogwarts’ classrooms are filled with new sets of teenagers bombarded with rules and regulations, and a cross, ex-Hit Wizard Headmaster, who does not tolerate any kind of folly. Will your student follow the rules or say Bugger All! to them? 11:44p	Available Rules Holds Apply Character Directory Player Directory FAQ/Drop Box Credit With the television season nearing an end and the Summer firing up, it's time to join new_directions to get your Glee fix during the long months until September. We've got all sorts of fun stuff planned, and the only thing missing is you. We're the oldest Glee RPG on IJ and have been open for active play since September '09, so we won't be going anywhere any time soon. We've still got some canon characters open, and also accept OCs (students, teachers, anything that you can think of to fit in the setting.) The application is fairly simple.
