We've been cleaning, as you should be able to see." Not that he expected Sirius to pay attention to anything, including the amount of work he was putting into this house.
He got down the start, not getting too close. He hated the fact that Sirius was taller. Those two inches shouldn't make a difference, but they did, when Sirius was the first born, the one who should have had all of this, privileges and responsibilities.
"I didn't think you cared if I died. You forgot I existed when you entered Hogwarts after all," he pointed out. "What is it? Did you have a fight with Potter? I'm sure you'll kiss and make-up soon enough."
