Minerva might not have had the highest of hopes for the evening, but she had not suspected it to take such a foul turn. She had a genuine interest in the exhibits on offer and it was admirable that people came together to celebrate areas of their history. The Morgana Exhibit had not even bothered her. It was, as Narcissa suggested, a part of their Wizarding heritage, dark or not. Attempting to eradicate such areas was not only futile but also dangerous. How would future generations learn, after all?
No, what had riled her was the flippant suggestion that Morgana was simply a misunderstood woman and that the Dark Arts were subjective. The mentions of Hogwarts had also bothered her, regardless of her agreement that the Restricted Section held little value in the school. Children did not need access to those texts, but that was a battle she had yet to win.
On her way out of the event, after biding Aurora a good-night, she caught sight of Moody outside the museum.
"One word," she warned as she buttoned the collar of her robes. News of her Order of Merlin had gotten out thanks to Severus' insistence. Two weeks that news had remained under wraps. Two whole weeks--and in the space of an hour, most of the bloody Order knew about it!
She was already half-way down the stairs as she threw the following over her shoulder, "I do have several words about a certain individual that might interest you."
